Chains, Harnesses & Dealing

If the title of this post doesn’t hook you, then I’m not sure what else I can do. Chains, harnesses and dealing aren’t exactly web 2.0, but they are all recently acquired skills by yours truly. “What?” you’re thinking. Let me elaborate… In the past month, I’ve learned to:

1. Install 18 wheeler-grade snow chains (BTW, call them “iron” if you want to sound like you know what you’re doing)
2. Deal Blackjack (Twenty-one) — or Vingt-et-un, if you happen to be French
3. Harness sled dogs — or any dog for that matter, that wants to pull a sled

Now I know what you’re thinking. Not only is this not web 2.0, it’s not even web! Well, I never promised that everything in this blog would be about zeros and ones. Running a web business in a place like McCall is already making me a much more balanced person it seems. And if this whole internet thing turns out to be a fad, I’ve got one heck of a skill-set now to leverage.

I suppose I should focus on SEOing and designing sites for truckers, mushers and casinos.

For what it’s worth, these were the first three sites in Google when searching for their respective terms and they are clearly doing a lot of SEO things correct. That’s why they’re #1 for their terms!

If you’re interested in improving your website’s ranking to compete with these guys, or in another business vertical, please let us know. We’d love to help. And we’d love you to help keep us from having to deal cards in Vegas.
